Holy Relics Installation and Declaration as Thekkan Parumala

The Holy Relics of Parumala Thirumeni was brought from Parumala church, with piety, gaiety and religious fervour and was installed in the church on 12th Jan 2001, by His Holiness The Catholicose of the East. During the public meeting which followed, His Holiness declared the church as "Thekkan Parumala St. Gregorios Valia Pally".

The church flourished as a pilgrim hub of the southern Kerala at an accelerated pace. People irrespective of caste and creed, come, pray and received blessings; and many testify to this.
